My experience during studying writing

Firstly, I am going to say Alhamdulillah because I passed in writing 1 last semester. It was the best experience in my life. I never imagine that I got good mark last semester. I thought  that writing is the difficult lesson, but it is not. During studying in Senior High School, I did not like writing and never try it. It made me bored, but since in college I like to write. The lecturer told me that writing was fun and important part especially in english department. As a college students, we have different ways to say what writing is about.

In my opinion, writing is ability to share something on the paper or written form. There are our experiences, what we have read and our environment. Writing makes someone  happy because they share what is on their mind. Writing is an activity that makes someone tell about their selves. They can tell in diary, or a piece of paper. Writing is one of study which I like. I can write my experience there. During studying  paragraph writing in the last semester, I felt something different in my life. In addition, I have many knowledges about how to be better in writing include my grammar, vocabularies , and choose a good word.

Besides, in writing one I learned much how to be better in writing. I have many experiences there. Besides, I can improve my skill in writing. First, how to choose a good word in our paper. The correlation between one sentence to the other sentences, and paragraph to the paragraph. It makes good meaning and well-organized although I have mistake there. Second, in grammatical. Grammar is difficult for me in writing. I do not know why. I have a little skill in grammar. I have tried it, but step by step I can do that. The last is improving my vocabularies in writing. If we have more vocabularies, it will help to write easier, but if we do not have much vocabularies, we will difficult to write.

During I studied in writing 1 with mr. Saunir and ms. Fitrawati, I have learned much about it. They told us how to be better in writing, especially in essay. They said that before we wrote an essay, we had to write an outline about it including prewriting, outlining, writing, and polishing. Everyweek we made  paragraph then presented it in front of class one by one. After that, all of my friends critisized and corrected it together. Not only that, but also they gave a good idea about it. Presented our essays like that, it will increase our self’s confidence to speak in public and we know about our mistake. In addition, we can ask the lecturer if we are doubt about it.

However, sometimes I was lazy to write because of my ability in grammar. It is my obstacle in writing until now. I always try to study with my friends beside by my self. Since my lecturer said that grammar is important, but vocabulary is more important  than grammar. If we can write in well grammar, but we do not have enough vocabulary it means nothing. However, if we have much vocabularies, and not good in grammar that is better. Everyone can do it if they want to learn more about writing.
